Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka is an American-British musician and sitarist. She was the youngest and first woman to be awarded the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka shankar is one of India's rising stars in the sitar. She's a daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. Her birthplace was London in 1982, and her first years she split in London New Delhi. At the age of 13 when her first performance at New Delhi took place. When she moved to Encinitas California in 1999, she was awarded the high-school degree. Anouskha still has a promising music and acting career, despite being young. Since quite some time, she performs regularly alongside her father. She released her debut solo album Anourag in the year 1998. The Grammy Award-winning album Live at Carnegie Hall was released two years following her debut solo album. Apart from performing in many of the biggest venues and venues, she also is a stage performer for a lengthy time. Anoushka isn't just a musician. Bapi: The of My Life of My Live is her 2002 book, which was a tribute to Ravi Shankar. in 2003 she appeared as a character in Dance Like a Man as an actress and Bharat Natyam artist. Alongside her father, they toured around the globe, Anoushka racked up a wealth of experiences appearing at Carnegie Hall while still in her teens, performing in Peter Gabriel's WOMAD festival, and also performing together with George Harrison. Her talent and musicality was recognised by British parliament as among the finest in Asian Arts.
